Motion & Drive Monitoring
Brake release and wear monitoring, speed and zero-speed sensing, direction monitoring and overload trip interfaces.
Motion & Drive Monitoring
Sensors and switches that report brake release and lining wear, speed and zero-speed, rotation direction and overload trips - supporting protective control functions.
What does drive monitoring add to brakes and backstops?
Monitoring reports the actual state of a protective device - for example brake released / applied, lining worn, shaft stopped or turning backwards, limiter tripped. The signal is only one part of a complete protective control system; functional safety claims require documented components, architecture and application-level validation.
Need drive protection for your machine?
Send the drive data, existing manufacturer / model and the protection function required - MECHATRIC reviews the selection or replacement and prepares the RFQ.
