What is an electromechanical cylinder?
An electromechanical cylinder converts motor rotation into linear thrust with a screw (ball or lead) inside a cylinder housing with an extending rod. It offers controllable position, speed and force with low maintenance. Thrust, stroke, speed, duty cycle, side-load limits, motor mounting and the need for a brake are checked for each application.
