FLENDER N-EUPEX Flexible Couplings
Flexible pin coupling family for industrial drive applications.
Supplied as the original brand or as an engineered equivalent, depending on availability and the required delivery time.
What is an N-EUPEX coupling?
N-EUPEX is a torsionally flexible, fail-safe coupling series by FLENDER. Torque is transmitted from the cams of one hub, through individual block-shaped flexible elements (buffers), to the cams of the other hub. If the elastic elements fail, the cams engage directly, so the drive can continue to run in an emergency. Unlike spider-type jaw couplings, N-EUPEX uses separate buffers, which are available in different hardnesses (65 Shore A, 80 Shore A as standard, and HP). Two-part and three-part designs exist; three-part types allow the buffers to be replaced without moving the coupled machines.
