Constant-Fill Fluid Couplings
Hydrodynamic coupling family for soft starting and drivetrain protection.
Supplied as the original brand or as an engineered equivalent, depending on availability and the required delivery time.
What is a constant-fill fluid coupling?
A constant-fill fluid coupling is a hydrodynamic coupling filled with a fixed quantity of oil. The input impeller accelerates the oil, which drives the output runner, so torque is transmitted without mechanical contact. It gives a soft start of high-inertia loads such as conveyors, crushers and mills, limits starting and overload torque, and damps torsional vibration.
Used to reduce starting shock and smooth acceleration in high-inertia industrial drives.
